To our future families

Choosing the right kindergarten for your child is a big decision. Not only because spaces in Berlin can be limited, but because you want to be sure that the values, team, and approach align with your own parenting philosophy. After all, you're trusting us with the most precious person in your life.

That's why we always invite families to take a personal tour of Kita TreeHaus when considering joining us. It's a great way to meet some of our team, see how we work, and get a feel for the overall atmosphere of our kindergarten. It's also the perfect time to ask us any questions you might have.

When we call you with a place offer, we'll invite you back to finalise the details, sign contracts, and agree on a start date. We understand how emotional and nerve-wracking this transition can be, and we're here to guide you through it. Our experienced team will work closely with you to ensure the settling-in process is as smooth and stress-free as possible—for both child and parent.

We're here every step of the way, ready to help make this next chapter in your child's journey a positive one.

Does it feel like a fit for your family?

Wonderful! If you want to send us a registration request, please fill in our online form. We currently have 4 spots available for children born in 2024 and 1 spot for a child born in 2022.

Practical topics

Adaptation phase

At Kita TreeHaus, the adaptation phase follows the Berlin model—a gentle and gradual approach designed to help children feel safe and secure in their new environment.

The process is child-led and unfolds over 3 to 6 weeks, depending on each child's individual needs. We take the time to ensure a smooth transition, allowing children to build trust at their own pace.

Communication

We value open and direct communication with you and believe that personal conversations are essential.

For general updates or urgent messages, we use the "Famly" app, which you'll need to download and install to stay connected with us.

We're here to support you!

We understand that life as a parent can be busy, and we want to make things a little easier for you. While we love when parents get involved at Kita TreeHaus, there's no obligation—your level of participation is entirely up to you.

Here's how we help lighten the load:

  • No lunchbox packing required: All meals are provided, so you can skip the morning rush of prepping snacks and lunches.
  • No unexpected excursion fees: Outings and special activities are fully covered, so there's no need to worry about last-minute costs.
  • Reliable staffing, even in case of illness: We plan ahead to ensure your child is always well cared for. If one of our educators is unwell, our floater steps in to help. And if they're unavailable too, we work with a trusted placement agency to bring in familiar and qualified temporary educators—almost like an extended part of our team.

Our goal is to create a smooth, supportive experience for both you and your child, so you can focus on what truly matters—enjoying this special stage of life together.
